In the spring of 1961, the gorgeous quintet led by Cannonball Adderley performed at the Falconer Centre, which had just been reborn as a modernist building, on CD for the first time.

Featuring Sam Jones, Nat Adderley, and Louis Hayes.

Before smashing the soul-jazz world with hits like Unit 7 and Jive Samba, Cannonball had a successful year-and-a-half with Miles Davis, adding to the band's appeal.

Recorded right after.

British-born pianist Victor Feldman, who is also known for composing "Seven Steps To Heaven" in a session with Miles Davis, participates and provides four songs.

Cannonball Adderley (alto saxophone)
Nat Adderley (trumpet)
Victor Feldman (piano, vibraphone)
Sam Jones (bass)
Louis Hayes (drums)

Recorded Falkoner Centret, Copenhagen, Denmark April 13, 1961
